• Bobby Pendragon : Bobby Pendragon is the protagonist of the Pendragon series. He was a fairly average fourteen year old boy and suburban basketball star living in the fictional suburb of Stony Brook, Connecticut at the beginning of the series. However his uncle (Press Tilton), soon informs him that he is a Traveler and must help save "Halla" ( described as every time, place and thing that ever has, or ever will, exist) from Saint Dane, the series' antagonist, who wants nothing more than to plunge each territory into chaos.

• Saint Dane : Saint Dane is a fictional character and main villain in the Pendragon series. He is an evil Traveler who wants to break down Halla so he can rebuild it in his own design.

• Press Tilton : Press Tilton is a fictional character in the Pendragon series by D.J. Machale. He is the "uncle" of character Bobby Pendragon.

• Loor : Loor is the Traveler from Zadaa, one of the ten territories.

• Vo Spader : Vo Spader is a fictional character in the Pendragon series by D. J. MacHale. He is the traveler for Cloral, and is one of the last generation of travelers.

• Vincent Van Dyke : Vincent Van Dyke (often nicknamed 'Gunny' because of his refusal to fire a gun) is the Traveler from First Earth in the fantasy book series Pendragon. Gunny is a tall black male, who works at the Manhattan Tower Hotel in New York as the Bell Captain. He is introduced in the books by helping Bobby Pendragon and Vo Spader escape from gangsters in the subway that holds the Flume. He appears consecutively in Books III, IV, and V.

• Kasha: Kasha was a fictional character in The Pendragon Adventure book series by D. J. MacHale and also the Traveler from the jungle territory of Eelong.

Nevva Winter : Nevva Winter is a fictional character in the Pendragon series by D. J. MacHale. She appears in The Quillan Games and in its sequel The Pilgrims of Rayne.

• Courtney Chetwynde : Courtney Chetwynde is a romantic interest to Bobby Pendragon, the Lead Traveler in the Pendragon series.

• Mark Dimond : Mark Dimond is the life-long best friend of the protagonist of the series, Bobby Pendragon.
